German Bakery began in 1979 as a simple, soulful place for good food, warm conversations, and the free spirit of Goa. Over the years, it became a beloved stop for hippies, backpackers, artists, and travellers from around the world.
Even today, many familiar faces still return for the music, conversations, and sense of freedom. It remains a place of love, freedom, and good food — where strangers become friends.
Owned by Pankaj, and run with heart by his team, German Bakery keeps the old Anjuna spirit alive — unhurried, human, and full of memory.
